Rae’s Safe Haven is dedicated to building affirming spaces and providing meaningful support for LGBTQ+ individuals and marginalized members of our community. Through outreach, education, connection, and collaboration with community partners, we strive to meet real needs and create opportunities for safety, wellness, and belonging.

Our Services

  • Mental wellness is a vital part of building strong and resilient communities. Rae’s Safe Haven works to connect individuals with supportive environments and affirming mental health resources.

    Our efforts include:

    • Community support groups and social connection opportunities
    • Partnerships with affirming providers such as Alta Behavioral Healthcare
    • Safe spaces for individuals to share experiences and build supportive relationships
    • Access to gender-affirming resources and support items

    Through these efforts, we aim to reduce isolation and create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

  • Recovery journeys look different for everyone, and Rae’s Safe Haven is committed to supporting individuals in building healthier and more stable futures.

    We help connect individuals with:

    • Recovery meetings and peer support opportunities
    • Community recovery organizations and local partners
    • Harm reduction education and resources
    • Supportive spaces that encourage healing and personal growth

    Our goal is to ensure that individuals seeking recovery can access resources in environments that respect their identity and lived experience.

  • Housing insecurity continues to impact many individuals in our community. Rae’s Safe Haven works to provide practical support and connect individuals with resources that help meet immediate needs.

    Our outreach efforts include:

    • Distribution of hygiene and homeless outreach kits
    • Donation drives for clothing, blankets, and essential supplies
    • Resource navigation for housing assistance and support services
    • Partnerships with local organizations working to address homelessness

    These efforts help ensure that individuals facing difficult circumstances are treated with dignity and care.

    A supportive youth group centered on identity, confidence, and connection.
