Feeling creative? Do you have a burning desire to express yourself? Are you passionate about writing poetry? If so, we have an exciting event for you! In honor of April being National Poetry Month, we are thrilled to announce the Teen and Youth Poetry Slam!

Now, you might be wondering, “What exactly does this entail?” Well, let us enlighten you. We are hosting a free contest for individuals aged 12 through 21. To participate, simply use the link provided below to submit your writing to the competition.

However, there are a few rules to keep in mind. Your poem must adhere to one or more of the themes listed below, and it must be submitted by April 13th, at 11:59 p.m. The themes for this competition are: Self-love, personal growth, change, acceptance, and finding your voice.

The winner of this contest will be awarded a $50 Amazon gift card, generously donated by Lala Creative Studio. Additionally, any poems that are selected for inclusion in the competition may be featured in a small youth poetry booklet.
